Close to major freeways and four miles north of LAX, this slightly "dated" Marina del Rey mid-rise "isn't posh", but it is "safe and comfortable", has "ample parking" and is across the street from shops, restaurants and the bike path to Santa Monica; although the courtyard is "beautifully landscaped", the rooms are a little "run-down": linens are just "adequate" and bathroom amenities include earplugs to block out early-morning truck deliveries to the two nearby grocery stores.

Easy to get to, easy to get around.
Left my charger there, day later they didn't find.

I received what I expected. Worth the price I paid. The front desk staff were great folks. The restaurant staff were very friendly and accomodating.

Needs updating. No bar/restaurant.

This hotel was only average in appearance and accommodations for the area. It was a definite no-frills hotel.

Great restaurant. Located with shopping ctr next door and cinemas and restaurants all within walking distance.
Little too far from Santa Monica to walk but that's a small issue if you have a car.

Staff was noisy. Loud at night. No microwave or refrigerator.

Staff works on rooms at all hours and speak Spanish loudly 9-10 PM. Front desk did not respond to calls for silence. Front of hotel loud from late arrivals. Back is loud from trash compactor and laundry. Lots of late night noise from work at mall stores. ...read more

Very basic, no extra offerings, and decor very dated..

Rooms not too attractive but clean. Old-fashioned heating system. Staff friendly but not helpful in regards to suggestions for things to see and do for someone new to the area.

Fast check-in/out, curious service but not amazing. Room size was typical for the price/location.
Construction and fixtures of room were somewhat dated.

This was a good place to spend a night or two on a business trip. It was a little old but still clean and pretty quiet. I would not want to spend a vacation here.

Great geographic location, but adjacent to shopping center construction. Needs attention to detail - door hardware is loose, needs decorating. Clean, good beds, furnishings okay.

This is the noisiest hotel I ever stayed.

This hotel requires ear plugs to get any sleep. I asked for a room away from the freeway noise and I got one on the 1st floor next to laundry, housekeeping and all deliveries. Maid service is not very good. ...read more
